TREES

Trees are like the earths lunges , withtout   trees   we would all be  sick. Trees have  leaves, a trunk,and  roots.  Trees make food like aplles  and  hazelnuts.  MMMMMMMMMMMM!   They need water and sunlight.  They need all these things to grow big and  strong and live a long long  life.  But a couple  more things. Like   don't cut down trees.Or break  off the  branches  that's like  cutting  them  up.                                                                                                                                                 5

Trees can have so many leaves in fall. In summer they ussally have green leaves. In the spring some have  flowers growing, but some are the same as summer. In the winter trees are bare.Plants   like  flowers usally die in the winter. Except some plants that can survive in the winter. (some plants are poiseness)So many animals depend on trees and plants. plants+animals=happy earth and trees+anmals=animals with homes.

pets

Pets are animals that you keep like dogs,cats, and  chickens.  Dogs are poular cats too chickens aren't as popular but are still pets. A  couple of days ago I saw a man  with a pet goat. He had so many  people who  tried to take it away but  he   wouldent let them.   Some people don't  have a pet some do.

good citisinship

good citisinship  is being a good sport,that  just means being good about losing,and wining.that means not throwing a fit when you lose,and  not braging  when you win. playing is fun unless you are not fun to play with. so instead of being number 1 in games be number 1 in kindness.you wont get a trophie but youll still get a prise  youll feel good. 5 ways to be a good sport are to (1)FOLOW THE RULES (2)NO CHETING! Animals are like humans

(Mom's Note: Kya's little brother was with us when Kya narrated this post, and he had some things to say.  I've inserted his comments in parentheses.)

Animals are like humans because they have feelings.  We are mammals, and all mammals have a backbone.  (Mammals have speaking skills.)  You know birds are birds because they've got feathers.  Not all birds fly; that's not howyou can tell they are a bird.  (You can tell they are birds because of their beaks and because they look like a bird.)  Birds are sometimes pets.  So are dogs and cats.  Some kinds of birds that are pets are chickens, and a very popular one is parrots.  There are different kinds of dogs and cats.  (Like mammal dogs.  And slime mammals.  And pink green mammals.)   There are also amphibians and reptiles.  Bugs are also a kind of animal, but not how you might think of it, but they are.  There are bugs that are also cute, like ladybugs (and like potato heads).

Animals are humans, except a different kind.  They have different languages, like barking, meowing, and of course, cock-a-doodle-doo!  (And like, bubbaboo, bubbaboo, blub blub blub.  You know, like fishes.  Some animals go like whee whee wheeee-ooo!  Some animals go like potato head, potato head.  Some animals go like cricket, cricket, cricket.  And some animals go like baseball, baseball.)  Animals can also go like ssssssssssss.  And neigh.  (Moo!)  

Animals are everywhere.  You may not notice them, but they are there.  I saw a deer once.  So go exploring outside!

Respectful

Be respectful.  Because people will be nice to you if you are nice to them.  Don't touch people unless they have given you permission, and make sure you tell them not to if they touch you and you do not want them to.

If people are upset, make them laugh or do something nice.  But if they seem like they don't want you to make them feel better, don't,  That might help.

A list of things that you can do to be nice:

• Don't make people feel bad.
• If they are already feeling bad, if they seem like they don't want to be paid attention to, then don't; if they seem like they do, then do.
• Pay attention.
• Keep your body parts to yourself.
• Be respectful to animals.  You can be respectful to animals by taking care of them and being gentle with them.
• Be kind to plants and trees.  You can do that by not picking them unless they need it.  If it's just like a leaf, that's like a haircut for you, but do you need that every single day?  I bet not.  So don't do it every single day.

What Happened to Me at School Today

Today at school, I wanted to play football with some boys at recess.  I walked over and asked someone in the class.  He said that it could be a little dangerous.  I ignored that.  I waited until the ball came to me.  As soon as I caught it, a boy ran up to me and said I couldn't play because I was a girl.  Take a moment to think about that.  Would you like that to happen to you?  I bet you wouldn't.  So don't do it to other people!

Also, today at school, a boy said that I would get hurt in football and said I would get tackled at the beginning of the game, and another boy said I would get hit.  Then another boy said, "No, they wouldn't.  Not to a girl they wouldn't."  That made me feel bad, because I'm a girl and I'm strong and I can do the things a boy can do.  Girls have strength.  Girls have pride.

I thought this was something that happened in the olden days, but I was wrong.  It still happens.  I want to show them that they are wrong.  But if you don't even let us play the sports, then how will we get good at them and then how can we prove them wrong?

Boys and girls are all humans.  We should act like it.  We know how to be kind.  You can be kind to other boys, which means you can be kind to girls.

Things that you can do to be kind to others (a list):

• You can be kind by adding people in.
• You can also be kind by not being narrow-minded about other people.
• You are the same as everybody.
• If you ever get teased or bullied, it's also kind to just talk.  If that doesn't work, tell a grownup.  Or, if that doesn't work, prove to them that you are not what they said you are.
• You are being a little bullying if you say that someone can not do something that you are doing.
